The U15s prop Adam Cracknell received the award as the Gascoines Player of the Month from club President, Conrad Hunt, last Thursday night having been put forward by the group’s coaching team for meeting three of the award scheme’s key criteria.

First, he had improved his performance significantly over a period of time by embracing advice to target his fitness outside of training by attending the gym and other activities which had shown clear benefit on the pitch and, in his own words, he said that ‘rugby has transformed my life’.

Conrad went on to say that his attendance at both training and matches was very reliable, also he could also be counted on to help with setting up and packing away without being asked.
Finally, Adam was a true sportsman whose gentlemanly conduct both on and off the pitch was a great example to all and therefore he was a very worthy winner of the Player of the Month award.
