3. 100 Mile Centenary Run - Saturday 4th June 2022

Centenary 100 mile run for Beaumond House Hospice

Southwell Rugby Club was founded in 1922 and on Saturday 4 June the first event in its centenary season will take place in form of a 100 mile run in aid of Beaumond House Hospice in Newark.

The event format evolved during the planned from a 3 phased event featuring different loops of the town and settled on a simpler format of 200 laps of the pitches at the Club (a figure of 8 of the 2 pitches being 0.5 miles).

Participants from all areas of the Club took part with each contributing towards the overall total. Fundraising was predominantly via a JustGiving page to collect all of the donations.
